Centre for Fiscal Affairs (CFA) is an independent research and policy advocacy think tank working to promote and advocate for  greater fiscal transparency, accountability, and participatory governance for the realization of a just, fair, and strong society.

Since its establishment, CFA has continued to position itself as a think tank working in collaboration with other like-minded non-state actors, state actors and development partners to promote and strengthen fiscal transparency, accountability, and prudent utilization of public resources at the national and sub-national levels of government.

As an organization, we seek to empower citizens to ensure that fiscal systems and processes are more progressive and that government policy on taxation and spending benefits the largest proportion of the population, not favoring the few.

In discharging its operations, CFA is guided and oversighted by a board of five (5) Non-Executive Directors.

CFA uses evidence-based Policy Research and Analysis, Strategic communications, and effective Advocacy to facilitate civic engagement, inform public discourse on taxation, public debt and public spending and effective service delivery at sub-national, national, and regional levels.

Led by the Executive Director, CFA Secretariat has a team of highly qualified, well experienced, and dedicated team of staff and associates who implement the organization’s mandate.
