CFA promotes citizens’ advocacy in the formulation, review, implementation, and oversight of public policies on taxation, public debt and public spending at both national and sub-national levels of government. We use research to support advocacy. Public Policy and advocacy intervention facilitates citizen empowerment thus promoting and strengthening citizens’ capacity to hold the government at both national and sub-national government accountable.

In addition, CFA participates, through collaboration and affiliation, in various advocacy campaigns both locally and regionally to advocate for and strengthen fiscal transparency and promote accountability on taxation, public debt and public spending for quality service delivery.
